President Obama Building The Economy

Posted May 6, 2013 in

According to the White House Press, President Obama will not be satisfied until every American who wants work can find a job. That’s why he is working to grow the American economy, way beyond just getting out of the recession, so middle class families feel confident in their futures and their children’s futures.

The President is committed to creating jobs, to hunting down misspent tax dollars through the Campaign to Cut Waste, and ultimately providing security for America’s middle class.  Getting back to pre-recession status is not enough; the President wants to fully restore America’s middle class economic status and economic security.

America’s small businesses are essential to strengthening the nation’s economy and the President is committed to helping them grow and prosper.

America’s economic growth and international competitiveness depend on the people’s ability to innovate.  President Obama believes that America will create the jobs and industries of the future and restore middle class security by doing what America does best – investing in the creativity and imagination of the American people.  “We must out-innovate, out-educate, and out-build the rest of the world to ensure that our nation achieves rapid, sustained and broad-based economic growth.”

To restore security to the middle class and create an economy that is built to last – an economy that creates the jobs of the future and makes things the rest of the world buys – America has to out-innovate the competition. But to win that competition, American companies must be able to take their ideas to market quickly without the constraints of undue regulation and costs. That’s why President Obama has directed his Administration to reduce barriers, including reforming the patent system, reviewing federal regulations, and promoting trade.

President Obama knows that today’s entrepreneurs are tomorrow’s Fortune 500 companies and exemplify America’s competitive edge in ingenuity and innovation. That is why the President has tasked his administration with crafting policies that eliminate barriers to startup formation, drive investment to the best ideas and accelerate the growth of young companies in the marketplace.
